Hello,大家好。相信在深度学习领域,大家对于Transformer这个东西都不陌生。Transformer最早的时候是应用于NLP领域的,但是在几年前被应用到了CV领域。Transformer在CV领域的突出表现,使得卷积神经网络(CNN)的地位受到了挑战。那么今天我就给大家介绍一个经典的Transformer模型-------Swin Transformer
Swin Transformer是微软亚洲研究院提出的一种通用视觉主干结构,一经发布就在多种任务上达到sota。Swin Transformer主要分为以下几个结构:
1.Patch Partition
Pacth Partition的作用就是将输入的Images转化为patch块,且每个patch块是由相邻四个像素块组成。其本质就是将 H\times W \times 3 的Image转化为 \frac{H}{4} \times \frac{W}{4} \times48 的patch。可能有同学要问了48是什么?这里跟大家解释一下,48是因为原图像的channels是3,而在图像转换为patch的时候四个相邻像素在channel方向上展平,所以4x4x3=48。
2.Linear Embedding
这一步没什么好说的,就是将 \frac{H}{4} \times \frac{W}{4} \times48 转化为 \frac{H}{4} \times \frac{W}{4} \times C , C 的大小为96。
3.Patch Merging
Patch Merging的作用就是将图像的高和宽缩小至原来的 \frac{1}{2} ,将 C 升为原来的2倍。
4.Swin Transformer Block
Swin Transformer的核心部分就是这个block,如图(b)所示,该block有两种。一种是具有W-MSA的block,另一种是具有SW-MSA的block。
W-MSA是一个具有节省计算量的自注意力机制,它将图像以7x7大小分割成多个窗口进行自注意力机制。传统的Multi-head Self-Attention(多头自注意力机制)具有非常大的计算量,而W-MSA的出现,很好的解决了MSA计算量庞大的问题。自注意力机制的公式如下:
Attention(Q,K,V)=softmax(\frac{QK^{T}}{\sqrt{dm}})V
其中, Q,K,V 是输入 X 经过 W_{q},W_{k},W_{v} 三个变换矩阵得到的, dm 是维度。而传统的MSA的计算量是 4hwC^{2}+2(hw)^{2}C ,而W-MSA的分割窗口操作将计算量降到了 4hwC ^2 +2\times(7^2 hwC) ,大幅度的减少了计算量。但是这样分割窗口的自注意力机制存在一个问题。那就是窗口与窗口之间的信息是闭塞的,不交互的。这样会使得图像的上下文连接不起来,从而导致模型效果差。
而SW-MSA就是为了解决W-MSA而出现的。SW-MSA通过移位窗口使得窗口交界处的信息能够相互传递

这部分的代码就是把图像转为多个窗口,和把多个窗口还原成图像的操作,主要是为了方便W-MSA和SW-MSA的操作,这部分也没什么好讲的。

这一块就是W-MSA的实现,以及相对位置偏置的实现。什么是相对位置偏置?就是位置编码。所以Swin-Transformer的自注意力机制的公式如下:

Patch Merging在之前说过,它的主要目的就是将 H,W 降维, C 升维。我有点想不明白为什么要这么处理,为什么不采用卷积操作?可能是实验人员用了卷积操作实现Patch Merging的效果不好吧,这一块笔者还没做相应的对照试验。
